Objective
The objective of this project was to assist the client in examining the attractiveness of the beta-glucan market and the possible development of an agreement with one or more manufacturers. We sought to provide an estimate of sales growth for beta-glucan by contacting prospective end users to understand their views of its attractiveness as an ingredient, and by examining competitor activity.
Method
CPL contact a large number of beverage manufacturers to and analysed a range of beta-glucan products and the technologies used to produce them in order to see where our client fitted amongst its peers.
