Simon Daw joined CPL Business Consultants in  2020 bringing extensive commercial and strategic marketing experience across global B2B and B2C markets. He has worked with blue-chip organisations across food, beverage, ingredients, chemicals, and flavours, helping translate insight into sustainable growth.

Previously, Simon was Global Marketing Director at Tate & Lyle, leading international brand, category, and innovation strategies. More recently, as a Principal Consultant at Mintel, he delivered rigorous, data-driven insights to support consumer understanding, brand building, strategic direction, and innovation.

An internationally experienced marketing leader, Simon specialises in marketing strategy, category leadership, and product innovation. His expertise spans functional ingredients (including prebiotics, probiotics, vitamins, rare sugars, and fibres), flavours, and a broad range of food ingredients, including hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, sweeteners, dairy ingredients, and fruit preparations.

Simon Daw holds a degree in Economics, Materials and Polymers degree at Swansea University, and is an experienced team and executive coach.
