Dr Steve Lisansky co-founded CPL Business Consultants, as part of CPL Scientific in 1987. Steve has >40 years of experience in industrial business development, consultancy and research.
Steve has worked on around 400 projects for 150 clients in the past 35 years and has addressed many commercial and technical challenges in ingredients for food, dietary supplements, feed, etc., as well as in management consulting and biopesticides for crop protection. He is a well-known figure in biopesticides having presented at many international events.
Steve has >250 publications as an author and editor, including private client reports, multi-client studies, directories, books, journals, scientific papers, chapters, articles and reviews, plus lectures, seminars, and interviews.
Dr Steve Lisansky was previously the founder and Director of Microbial Resources, a biotechnology company in biopesticides, with backing from Lazard. Prior to that, he was with Tate & Lyle Research.
American by birth, Steve has assisted clients forming with trans-Atlantic partnerships and moving into US or EU markets. He did his degree in biology at Brandeis University (Biology). His PhD was on Plant Physiology and Biochemistry at Yale University. He has qualifications and considerable experience in finance and management.
