Imran Afzal joined CPL Business Consultants in 2023. He brings over two decades of experience in product development, nutrition and food ingredients from international retailers and global FMCG.
Imran has worked on R&D strategies, product launches, procurement, quality initiatives, new product development, and branding. He has expertise in a wide range of product categories including foods, beverages, pet food and ingredients.
Previously, he worked in R&D and technical positions at Pepsico, Delicious Alchemy, and UK and international supermarkets Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
Imran Afzal did his MBA at the University of St Thomas, Master of Food Science at the University of Minnesota and Bachelor of Food Science at the London South Bank University. As a qualified food scientist, he is also a member of the Institute of Food Science and Technology.
