Objective

The objective of this study was to provide an overview of a number of segments of the ingredients industry. It also includes a review by CPL of the evolution of the ingredients industry some of the trends seen in the industry. It covers 23 different sectors, classified as they are known to the industry.

Method

The main contents of the study were based on a large number of sources including in-house databases, government regulators, trade journals, patent databases, scientific journals and existing reports.
CPL carried out an extensive search and review of scientific publications, patents, trade news, regulatory databases and clinical trials databases.
