A1005 Inoculants and Growth Promoters

Have a look at our PowerPoint Introduction and Brochure describing deliverables, differentiators and case studies. Eight case studies can also be reviewed.

Objective

The objective of this short project was to obtain an understanding of the market for growth inoculants and promoters in seed treatment, with special emphasis on the technology available in the marketplace and overall competitive trends.

Method

In carrying out this project, CPL reviewed the product offerings of the companies in the business including a brief review of the trials data. CPL found, read and analysed the scientific literature on the topic of both plant growth promoters and inoculants. CPL used information and experience within its database and its personnel to provide an overview of the evolution of this sector.

CPL then identified a number of individuals within the companies and research bodies working in this sector and interviewed them for their views.

Finally, CPL reviewed the patent literature and the current newsletters and information sheets for current opinions and information.

The results of these investigations are presented in the report.
