Aadarsh joined CPL in 2021 as an analyst. At CPL he has worked on diverse topics including vitamins and minerals, animal feed additives, bio-pesticides, sustainable agriculture, specialty chemicals and natural flavours.
His was previously a Research and Development (R&D) Engineer at Alesi Surgical Ltd. (Cardiff, UK) where he co-invented the design of an ‘electrode shield’ which was filed as a UK and International patent application. He has co-authored a paper in Nano Letters (published by American Chemical Society) where he performed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations.
Aadarsh has worked in IIT Delhi as a Project Associate from 2017-19 on a Ministry of Defence project where he was developing experimental setups for high strain rate testing. In 2014, Adarsh did his research internship in Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore) on a project related to tribology (interacting surfaces in relative motion).
He is currently completing a DPhil in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, and his research involves rheology and biomechanical modelling of gels and soft tissues. He completed his BEng with a First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University, UK. Aadarsh is an Associate Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (AMIMechE, London), Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS, London) and Member of the European Society of Rheology.
