In this case study, a food ingredients company engaged CPL Business Consultants to assist it with its vertical integration strategy to become basic in glucose.  The Client used glucose as a feedstock for production, and the lack of an in-house supply constrained the available opportunities for further growth.  CPL’s comprehensive report mapped the market for glucose and identified potential opportunities for strategic partnership or acquisition.

The objective of the project was to provide information and advice which would assist the client in becoming basic in glucose. The report included case studies and examples of companies which had been successful or not. CPL sought to facilitate this process by finding any opportunities which may be available to the client in terms of facilities for sale or potential partners and/or strategic allies. CPL also spoke to high-level contacts at potential partners to gauge their level of interest and introduced them to the client.
